The Ultimate Prayer Shield for Your Kids! Protect Them from the Devil

#Christians #Parents Step Up Your #Spiritualwarfare !

Ahoy, ye devils! Ye dared lay a finger on me boys? Now, hear the Word of Skipper, fer I come against ye with the might of His truth!

“It be written: The Son hath given me authority ter trample serpents and scorpions and stomp all over yer power. Nothin’ shall harm me or me household!” (Luke 10:19).

“I be armed with the weapons of the Son, and they shall prevail. Every foul word ye sling at me or mine’ll fall, fer I be His servant, and the righteousness of Jesus be me heritage!” (Isaiah 54:17).

“The Son came ter destroy yer works, ye lying rascal” (1 John 3:8). And by thunder, He hath done it, ye may lay ter that! “On the cross, the Son stripped ye bare of all yer armaments, parading ye as the defeated scallywag ye be. The Son hath triumphed over ye forevermore!” (Colossians 2:15).

By the blood of the Lamb and the word of me testimony, I declare ye defeated (Revelation 12:11). I resist ye, devil, and cheer as ye flee like the coward ye be (James 4:7). Greater be the Son in me than ye. Why, the Son done cast ye down ter this world, and the abyss awaits ye (1 John 4:4).

“We be more than conquerors through Him who loves us, and nothin’—not yer willy schemes, not yer lies, not yer attacks—can take me out of the arms of Skipper or the radiance of the Son” (Romans 8:37-39).

I live by every word from Skipper’s mouth (Matthew 4:4), and I live because the Son lives in me. With His righteousness, me boys be covered by His blood and off-limits ter the likes of ye.

Promises fer me crew’s young:

  1. The just man’s children be blessed after him (Proverbs 20:7).
  2. Skipper’ll pour His Spirit on me seed and bless me offspring (Isaiah 44:3).
  3. I be blessed by Skipper, and me offspring ter boot (Isaiah 65:23).
  4. The Lord’s mercy be from everlasting. Fer those in the Son, His righteousness be fer me children and me children’s children (Psalm 103:17-18).
  5. The offspring of the righteous—and I be righteous in the Son—’ll be delivered (Proverbs 11:21).
  6. Blessed be the man who fears the Lord and delights in His ways. His offspring’ll be mighty. They’ll be an upright and blessed generation (Psalm 112:1-2).
  7. A good man leaves an inheritance ter his children’s children. I leave fer me boys the Son (Proverbs 13:22).

So devil, begone! Me boys sail under Skipper’s flag, not some skull and crossbones. Be gone with ye. Ye have no claim here!

May No One Malign Your Word and Character Due to Our Actions

Titus 2:1-5—Prayers for the Church

May No One Malign Your Word and Character Due to Our ActionsLord, through your servant Paul we are commanded to teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Therefore, we ask that through your Spirit of Truth you lead us to teach the older men among us to be temperate and agreeable, worthy of respect, and self controlled. May we at all times be sound in faith, in love, and in endurance.

Likewise, bless us to teach older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanders or gossips, or addicted too much wine. Rather teach what is good and pure so they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, busy at home, kind, and subject to their husbands.

May no one malign your word and character due to our actions.

Amen and amen.

Pure Speech and Character

Titus 1:15-16

Pure Speech and CharacterLord, to the pure, all things are pure. But to those who are corrupted by the lies of the devil and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know you, but by their actions they deny you, your words, and slander your character. They are detestable, dishonest in deed and word and unfit for doing anything good within your body.

Therefore we ask that you expose those who mock your teachings, distort your truths, and lie about your nature. Rebuke them, not for judgement, but for council, correction, and perfecting. May we walk beside such individuals and offer your love, grace, and mercy. May our speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, and pour forth from a humble heart.

Amen and amen.

The Task of Leaders Among Us

Titus 1:1-11—Prayers for the Church

The Task of Elders Among UsLord, the knowledge of your truth leads to godliness. As such, our faith rests on the hope of eternal life found only in you.

You do not lie as men lie. Rather you promised from the beginning of time that you would one day bring your light into the world. This light has come. His name is Jesus. He is the light of the world and the light of mankind.

With regards to this light entrusted to us, you have called some to be leaders. A leader must be blameless, the spouse of one, a person whose children believe in the Lord and whose offspring are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. Since such individuals are entrusted with your work, each one must be blameless—not overbearing, arrogant, harsh, or puffed up with pride. They must not be quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, violence, or pursuing dishonest gain.

Rather they must be hospitable, a person who loves what is good—is self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined in the ways of Christ and the Father.

Each must hold firmly to the trustworthy message that has been taught from the beginning so that they can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

There are and always will be rebellious people, persuasive talkers, who seek to introduce new doctrines and traditions in order to deceive others. Such individuals deny the authority of Jesus’ words, teaching, and purpose for dying on a cross. By teaching things that should not be taught, they cheapen our Lord’s message of grace and mercy and in doing so ruin whole households.

Lord, right here, right now, in the name of Jesus we cast out all such spirits from among us. If any cling to lying spirits, deny your truth, your words, and seek to call good that which is wicked, we ask that you rebuke such persons and remove them from our assembly.

Lord, right here, right now, in the name of Jesus open our eyes to those among us who can be entrusted with your truth and help shepherd this flock.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen.

Wrestle in Prayer for All Those in Your Crew

Colossians 4:6, 8, 12, 17—Prayers for the Church

Wrestle in Prayer for All Those in Your Crew
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts. Epaphras is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. Complete the ministry you have received in the Lord.
(Colossians 4:6, 8, 12, 17)

Lord, bless me to make the most of every opportunity, be it at work, at home, or among the crew when we assemble to worship you. Let my conversation always be full of grace and seasoned with salt. Your salt is truth and good for the preserving of our soul. Your grace is love and good for preserving our hope in you. May I in all ways at all times offer your grace mixed with your truth. When I do this, I will know how to answer everyone.

Lord, may I send prayers, words, and others to my brothers and sisters for the exact purpose of encouraging their hearts. When I send words of encouragement, I water the seed others have sown. May my words nourish and nurture the hearts of those who hear my voice and read what I write.

Lord, may I always wrestle in prayer for all those in our crew, in my family, and community. May I pray on their behalf that they may stand firm in ALL your will and remain mature and fully assured of the hope we have in you.

Lord, may I see to it that I complete the work I have received from you.

Amen and amen.

Pray for Open Doors

Colossians 4:2-4 — Prayers for the Church

Pray for Open Doors Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. (Colossians 4:2-4)

Lord, bless me to be devoted to prayer, for this is the key to hearing from you—for receiving instructions for how to live a god-filled life.

Bless me to be watchful in all matters.

Bless me to be thankful at all times.

Bless me to be humble enough to ask for prayers from others.

Bless me to be bold enough to pray for those in need with your confidence, peace, and faith.

Bless me to ask for open doors where I might proclaim your good news, truth, love, grace, and mercy.

Bless me to boldly proclaim the mystery of Christ and all the words of my Lord and savior Jesus, his father, and my God—and that I do so clearly.

This is as it should be. This is your will.

Amen and amen.

May Our Work Be a Worship Offering

Colossians 3:23-25—Prayers for the Church

May Our Work Be a Worship OfferingWhatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism. (Colossians 3:23-25)

Lord, may all my work be a worship offering to you. Bless me in all ways to have in mind what you desire and work with all my heart as though serving you.

Bless me to work as though working to receive my inheritance from you, not men. It is you I serve.

Should I do wrong, I expect to be paid in kind, for you do not show favoritism, but treat all men and women equal.

Praise Jesus, even when we do wrong, if we turn and confess, you are merciful to forgive us. Though our sins may leave a legacy of consequences, covered by your blood and in your righteousness, when we confess our sins, we no longer need to live in shame.

Thank you Lord, that you do not hold our sins against us, but desire we live free of sin and in peace with you.

Amen and amen.
