“The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you disciples but not to them.” Matthew 13:11
Them is, “Anyone who hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it. The evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.” Matthew 13:19
Them is, “The man who hears the word – the kingdom message – and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the world, he quickly falls away.” Matthew 13:21
Them is, “The man who hears the word – the kingdom message – but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth chokes it, making that man unfruitful.” Matthew 13:22
“The man who hears and understands the message of the kingdom, produces a crop yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matthew 13:23
“Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor. They lack faith.” Matthew 13:57-58
“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.” Matthew 13:25
“Let both grow,” said the owner of the field. “At the harvest,I will tell the harvesters: ‘First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'”Matthew 13:30
“The good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one. The harvest is the end of the age. The harvesters are the angels.” Matthew 13:38-39
“At the end of the age, the Son of Adam will send out his angels. They will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace.” Matthew 13:41-42
“The righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Matthew 13:43
“The kingdom of heaven is like a net that caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen sat down and collected the good fish into baskets, but threw the bad fish away. That is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace.” Matthew 13:42-50 (A heavenly fish fry!)
