“I appeared in order to take away your sin. In Me there is no sin. No one who abides in Me continues to sin. No one who sins has seen Me or knows Me. The one who practices righteousness is righteous. The one who practices sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. No one who is born of my Father continues to practice sin.

“Because my Father’s seed abides in you — because you are now born of my Father — you cannot sin. By sin or righteousness the children of God and the children of the devil are known. Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of my Father. Because you keep His commandments, you have confidence before my Father. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him.” — Jesus
