“Nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean.'” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”) Mark 7:18-19
“What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ For from within a man’s heart comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from inside a man and make him ‘unclean.'” Mark 7:20-23
Jesus entered a house and did not want anyone to know it. Yet, he could not keep his presence a secret. Mark 7:24

Jesus put his fingers into the ears of a deaf man. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. Jesus looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh, said, “Be opened!” And the man’s ears were opened. “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and his own house, is a prophet without honor.” Mark 6: 4

One of the synagogue rulers, Jairus, came to Jesus. On his way to Jairus’ home a woman who had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, touched Jesus’ cloak. Immediately she felt that she was freed from the suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out of him.
“Who touched my clothes?”
The woman, trembling with fear, told him the truth.
“Daughter, your faith has healed you,” Jesus said. “Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” To Jairus Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. Just believe.” But when Jesus told the crowd at the ruler’s home, “This child is not dead but asleep,” they laughed at him. Jesus said, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”
Immediately the girl stood. Jesus gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this. Mark 5:21-43
Where do you need healing today?
Where do you want Jesus to touch you?
If not physical suffering, from what do you need to be freed?
What do you fear?
If you could simply believe, how would these words of Jesus comfort you?
