Should ya find yerself amongst congregants whar the spirit of Balaam be at work, consider praying this prayer out loud.

(Yes, we are all guilty of allowing heretics and unclean spirits to attack the Body of Christ.)

Woe to them! They have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error. (Jude 11)

Lord, godless fellers and lasses ‘ave left the straight way and wandered off ter follow the way of Balaam—a rascal who loved the wages of wickedness so much that he got out-smarted by a donkey.

They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam who loved the wages of wickedness. (2 Peter 2:15)

And we ‘ave allowed this ter happen. We ‘ave stood by whiles godless folks who hold ter the teaching of Balaam entice those in yer flock ter sin in sexual ways.

“I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin and committed sexual immorality.” – Jesus (Revelation 2:14)

Well we know from yer Word how Balaam advised the Midianite ladies ter lead fellers astray in sexual ways. Balaam be the example of how corrupt teachers seduce us with clever words, appeal ter our flesh, and trick us inter compromising with the world’s ways—inter teaching folks that what we do with our bodies be of no concern ter you.

Write to them, telling them to abstain from sexual immorality. (Acts 15:20)

Such godless teachers be paid, and handsomely, ter pervert yer words and teach yer flock ter sin. Worse, they actually lure, tempt, and convince some among us ter sin and in doing so, allow ’em ter be cast inter darkness.

The lesson of Balaam from the writings of Jude, yer half-brother, be this: From Moses ter present times these godless teachers ‘ave always spouted lies ’bout yer words. Now be the day ter send ’em packin’. Now be the day ter pray ’em away from among us, our kids, and our grandkids.

Oh Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus we cast out this spirit of Balaam that seeks ter sow seeds of sin in our youth—and in older folks who ought ter know better. Once we knew better, but lying heretics ‘ave slipped in among us and spread lies ’bout you, yer character, and yer words. 

We pray in the mighty name Jesus that this spirit of Balaam be cast out of our midsts.

All who be held in bondage ter sexual sin be set free in the name of Jesus our Lord. All who be under the spell of Balaam be set free of his demonic dark arts. The veil be lifted from the eyes of yer people so they kin clearly discern yer Truth from the lies of the devil, the Light of Jesus from the darkness of depravity.

All who be bound by the spirit of Balaam, be healed in the powerful name of Jesus from this perverse spirit. In the name of Jesus be set free from sin! Amen.
