(Acts 9:32-35)

In Lydda Old Pete found a feller who had been bedridden fer eight long, agonizing, painful years. Unable ter get up and move about, tha chap lay thar day after day, night after night, a prisoner inside his own body.

Old Pete said ter that feller, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you! Get up. Take care of your mat.”

Right off that feller whar healed. He got up, looked about, and walked on. All who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him strutting around. All turned ter tha Son.

Thar be much ter say on this “act,” but perhaps tha main point be this: tha Holy Ghost of Truth spoke words of healing through Old Pete. When he says, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you!” that whar not tha disciple spouting words, but tha very words of Skipper’s Spirit speaking truth and healing.

Ah good many of us wish we could say a word and heal folks, but only tha Holy Ghost of Truth has tha power ter mend bones, remove afflictions, reconnect tissue and tendons. Pray in tha Spirit of tha Son fer healing. Pray in tha Spirit of tha Son fer deliverance from addiction, affliction, and most of all sin. Pray in tha Spirit of tha Son at all times fer ever trial, test, impediment, and sorrow. Who knows but that through yer prayers tha Son will act and heal?

Pray with boldness fer tha things ya know be Skipper’s will. Then expect tha Son ter move on yer behalf.
