Whoever Believes and Is Baptized Will Be Saved. Whoever Does Not Believe Will Be Condemned.

The Pirate Gospel: Mark 16:16

Before the Risen Son left ter return ter heaven ter be with Skipper, he told the Eleven, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Skipper’s Covenant Code. No doubt at that moment, with thar minds opened ter the Truth, the Eleven recalled his words from earlier.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have come to fulfill them, not abolish them. Truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

“Whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. But anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:17-20)

From yeast ter least, that be the way Satan works.

From removing one small command ter removing all the words of Skipper, that be the way that black-hearted rascal the Devil sows seeds of doubt and reaps a harvest of souls bound fer the Gates of Hades. The Son warned his crew, “Whoever believes and is baptized, will be saved. Whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16) Not more’n a day earlier the Son had said ter his crew:

If you love me, keep my commands. Because I live, you also will live.”

On this side of the grave we do not really live, not like the Son means fer us ter live. We do not enjoy the blessed life Skipper planned fer us all them years ago when he made the heavens and the earth. At best we exist. We catch glimpses of the glorious life Skipper intends fer us, but all of life be lived under the shadow of death.

“All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan.” (Psalm 90:9)

Our True Life begins the moment we exchange our life fer the Sun’s and accept that he has absorbed the punishment due us fer our sins. From then on, we be living in the Kingdom of Skipper.

How kin you tell if you be in Skip’s Kingdom? Ask yerself this: Do I agree with the commands and teaching of the Sun? Do I want ter obey Skipper and the Sun’s teachings? Do you wish ter love the Son as much as he loves ya?

The Son says:

“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching.”

Love fer the Son be expressed through our obedience ter his teaching. Love fer the Son be expressed through loving our feller mates as we love ourself. Love fer the Son be expressed through our obedience ter Skipper’s words found in in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. When we love the Son and Skipper first, we kin love others as ourself and share with ’em the gift of salvation we enjoy.

Without this kind of love, we cannot love others. In fact, we ‘ill hate others. Hate and bitterness always be the fruit of a life lived apart from the Sun.

The Son told his mates, “This is what is written: the Messia will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name.” (Luke 24:44-48)

The Son done the suffering. The Son rose from the dead, destroying life in the grave fer them who be in him. We be charged with confessing our sins and repenting of our wicked ways. We be charged with preaching and teaching repentance fer the fergiveness of sins.

Will you love the Sun? Will you trust and obey his teachings? Make it yer task today ter ask the Son ter open yer mind so you kin understand the glorious Truth found in Skip’s Covenant Code. Then obey all the Holy Spirit of Truth reveals ter ya. Do that and you ‘ill begin ter love Skip, the Sun, and yer feller mates with the love Skipper ‘as fer ya.
