2 Samuel 2

2 Samuel 2In the course of time David inquired of the Lord. 2 Samuel 2:1

“The Lord bless you for showing this kindness. May the Lord now show you kindness and faithfulness.” 2 Samuel 2:5-6

Lord, may I not wait to inquire of you, but do so as soon as circumstances change. May I show kindness to all you bring to me today. And may you in turn, show kindness to me and help me to be faithful to you.

The Spirit of God will not allow you to use your body for your own convenience. Oswald Chambers

2 Samuel 1

2 Samuel 1“How the mighty have fallen! The weapons of war have perished!” 2 Samuel 1:27

“Your own mouth testified against you when you said, I killed the Lord’s anointed.” 2 Samuel 1:16

Lord, you are mighty. Though you fell on your way to Calvary, you rose from the grave. May the weapons of war perish. In their place, may we lift up the Love of Christ and our anointed Savior.
