Matthew Chapter 24

Matthew Chapter Twenty-fourYou will be hated by all nations because of me.” Matthew 24:9

Many will turn away from the faith and betray and hate each other.” Matthew 24:10

Because of the increase of wickedness the love (Agape) of most will grow cold.” Matthew 24:12

When you see the abomination of desolation spoken of through the prophet Daniel, let the reader understand.” Matthew 24:15

For the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22

The master will put in charge of all his possessions those who are faithful and wise in his household – those who gave goods to the other servants at the proper time.” Matthew 24:45

Matthew Chapter 23

Matthew 23Obey the teachers of the Law and do everything they tell you. Do NOT do what they do.” Matthew 23:3

You are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. You to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah.” Matthew 23:8 & 9

You, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” Matthew 23:14

You, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.” Matthew 23:15

You, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” Matthew 23:23

You, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of wickedness and hypocrisy.” Matthew 23:25

I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.” Matthew 23:34

You will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” Matthew 23:39

Matthew Chapter 19

Matthew Chapter 19At the beginning the Creator made them male and female. For this reason they became one flesh. They are no longer two, but one.” Matthew 19: 4-6

Your hearts are hard. Divorce was not the way from the beginning.” Matthew 19:8

The one who can accept this should accept it.” Matthew 19:12

People brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. Matthew 19:13

The Kingdom of heaven belongs to little children such as these.” Matthew 19:14

If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” Matthew 19:17

It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:23

With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters of father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.” Matthew 19:29

Matthew Chapter 18

Matthew Chapter 18Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:4

But if anyone encourages these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6

Woe to the man through whom come the things that cause people to sin!” Matthew 18:7

It is better to be maimed or crippled than to be thrown into the eternal fire of hell.” Matthew 18:8-9

See that you do not look down on these little ones. Their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:10-11

Your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Matthew 18:14

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you.” Matthew 18:15

If your brother will not listen, take one or two others along so that the matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. If he refuses still, even to listen to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or tax collector.” Matthew 18:16-18

Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18

You should have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the immoral man. I have already passed judgement on the one who did this.” 1 Corinthians 5:23 (Apostle Paul)

I have written to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.” 1 Corinthians 5:9 (Apostle Paul) “You must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral. Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow man just as I have on you?” Matthew 18:33

With torture my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.” Matthew 18:35

Matthew Chapter 17

Matthew Chapter 17How long shall I put up with you?” Matthew 17: 17

Don’t tell anyone what you have seen until the Son of Adam has been raised from the dead.” Matthew 17:9

You have so little faith.” Matthew 17:20

Nothing will be impossible for you if you have faith.” Matthew 17:20

From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes? Their own sons or from others?” Matthew 17:25

Matthew Chapter 16

Matthew Chapter 16A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Matthew 16:4

Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew Chapter 16:11

The disciples understood that Jesus spoke against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matthew Chapter 16:11

Your Father in heaven will give you the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13

This was revealed to you by my Father in heaven.” Matthew Chapter 16:17

On this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew Chapter 16:18

He warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. Matthew Chapter 16:20

The Son of Adam is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels. Then he will reveal each person according to what he has done.” Matthew Chapter 16:27

Matthew Chapter 15

Matthew Chapter 15You will nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.” Matthew 15:6

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain. Their teachings are but rules taught by men.” Matthew Chapter 15:8-9

Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.” Matthew Chapter 15

These men are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man both will fall into a pit.” Matthew Chapter 15:14

For out of the heart comes evil thoughts: murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These make a man ‘unclean.’” Matthew Chapter 15:19

It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.” Matthew Chapter 15:26
