Luke Chapter 8

Luke Chapter 8Cuza was the manager of Herod’s household. Joanna, his wife, helped to financially support Jesus and his disciples out of her own means. Luke 8:3

Luke Chapter 7

Luke Chapter 7All the people acknowledged that God’s way was right. But the Pharisees and experts in the Law rejected God’s purpose for themselves because they had not been baptized by John. Luke 7:29-30

He who has been forgiven little loves little.” Luke 7:47

Jesus’ heart went out to her. He touched the coffin. Luke 7:13 -14

Jesus gave the boy back to his mother. Luke 7:16

Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me.” Luke 7:22

Luke Chapter 6

Luke Chapter 6The “Son of Adam is Lord of the Sabbath.” Luke 6:5

Which is lawful on the Sabbath? To do good or to do evil? To save life or destroy life?” Luke 6:9

Twelve of his disciples he designated as apostles. Luke 6:13

Blessed are you when men insult you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Adam.” Luke 6:22

Wow to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets.” Luke 6:26

The Most High is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful just as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:36

Let me tell you how to build your house. Hear my words. Put them into practice. Dig down deep and lay a strong foundation. Then when floods come and terrible times strike, your house will not be shaken. It will stand. This is how you build a house founded on faith in me.” Luke 6:46-47

But the one who does not put my words into practice is like a man who builds on a slab without any footings or foundation. The moment trouble strikes, that man’s home will collapse and its destruction will be complete.” Luke 6:49

Therefore …

Do not judge.” Luke 6:37

Forgive and it will be forgiven to you.” Luke 6:38

With the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

Everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.” Luke 6:40

Take the plank out of your own eye.” Luke 6:42

Then remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Luke 6:42

The good man brings good things out of the good stored in his heart.” Luke 6:45

Out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45

Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46

The people crowded around Jesus to listen to the Word of God. Luke 5:1

James and John and Simon were fishing buddies. Luke 5:10

Jesus knew what they were thinking. Luke 5:22

Jesus’ disciples eat and drink. Luke 5:33

No one after drinking old wine wants new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ” Luke 5:39

Luke Chapter 1 & 3

Luke Chapter 1 & 3John will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth.” Luke 1:15

The Holy Spirit will come upon you, Mary.” Luke 1:35

Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:41

Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied. Luke 1:67

The Holy Spirit was upon Simeon. Luke 3:25

Mark Chapter 13

Mark Chapter 13Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.” Mark 13:11

Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.” Mark 13:12

All men will hate you because of me.” Mark 13:13
