Devote yourself to prayer. Be watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2

Pray that God may open a door for our (your, my) message so that we (you, I) may proclaim it clearly as I should the mystery of Christ. (Lord help me) to make the most of every opportunity. Colossians 4:3-4

Let your conversation always be full of grace and seasoned with salt so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

Christ is the mystery of God. The treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Colossians 2:2

See that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophies which depend on human traditions and the basic principles of the world. Colossians 2:8

The basic principles of this world and its regulations lack any value in restraining sensual indulgences. Colossians 2:23
