If You Are Insulted Because of the Name of Christ, You Are Blessed.Do not be surprised at the painful trials you are now suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 1 Peter 4:12

Rejoice so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:13

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed. The Spirt of God rests in you. If you suffer as a Christian do not be ashamed. Praise God that you bear that name. It is time for judgement to begin with the family of God. 1 Peter 4:14-17

Those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. 1 Peter 4:19

With gentleness and respect, speak in love to those who maliciously speak against your good behavior. 1 Peter 3:16

Christ died for your sins in order to bring you to God. (Die to your self for others.) 1 Peter 3:18

Christ also went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah. Noah and his family were saved through water. This water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you. 1 Peter 3:20-21

This pledge, your response to baptism through water, is evidence of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Christ. 1 Peter 3:21

This is the way the holy women of the past, who put their hope in God, made themselves beautiful. Do not give way to fear. 1 Peter 3:5

Husbands, treat your wife with respect as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life. Do this so nothing will hinder your prayers. 1 Peter 3:7
